Nice post and so true! i can certainly attest to the truth of this in my own life. Being a partner is much better, and much harder, than being a controller. For successful relationships in my life giving up controlling others(never possible anyway, as you point out); is the beginning of greatness in relationships; and much less stress in my personal zone.

Sometimes it feels like I’m a turtle marching through peanut butter and then, SLAM, I get a bunch of stuff happening that I had been praying for.
