Recently I found this amazing product and I just have to share it with everyone I know!! Being only twenty years old, I still try my hardest to combat any signs of aging before it even has time to hit me! Like any other women, (at least I think), we will do anything to stay looking as youthful as we can for as long as we can! While some people like to spend more money on procedures to reverse the aging process by using Botox and other very expensive treatments, others like to fight it by not having to spending as much but while still achieving great results! In my opinion, I do typically think that the more you spend (and this goes for everything), the more you get out of some thing!! But, with that being said… Dundundun! The Queen Bee of all face creams: Beenigma! I have been absolutely loving this stuff! And if you’re wondering about the whole “bee” thing… Well, this all-in-one face cream actually is derived from actual bee VENOM. Yup, that’s right, venom! Kind of scary when you first think about it, but when you actually learn what it’s doing to your skin and when you see the results, it really is the bees knees. I bet you’re wondering how bee venom has anything to do with fighting wrinkles and making you look more youthful, so I’m here to tell you what I’ve learned about it! So basically just think of it as getting tiny bee stings all over your face (just what every one wants, right? haha!), but really, everyone’s been stung by a bee before, and what happens? Your skin swells up! That’s exactly what the venom in the cream does to your skin! Your skin reacts as if you’ve been stung. You’re probably thinking “Ouch! I am not rubbing that stuff all over my face!!”, but actually, inflammation is not a side effect and it does not feel like a bee sting, maybe just some tingling as first! The result? Any fine lines are instantly reduced, filled in and skin is plumped, has better elasticity, and has a more smoothed appearance and feel to it! Plus, the more you use it, the more effect you’re going to get! I’ve only been using this product for a few weeks, but already see awesome results! Of course this products is not suitable for any one with a known bee allergy, because that’s just pretty self explanatory. Like I said before, being only twenty, I may not have as many signs of aging as others, but we all want to look our best and feel our best and I think the first step to that is preventing the things that make us feel not so glamorous. The cream is also made with ingredients like Manuka Honey and Shea Butter, which are both very soothing. Manuka Honey has a very high grade of antibacterial factors, which make it great for acne and keeping your face clear, defiantly being a big plus! Packed full of amino acids, minerals and vitamins, Manuka Honey has much more healing power and anti-aging capabilities compared to normal honey! Overall, it’s just an awesome product, I totally recommend it any one looking for a new skin cream! As for my skin care routine, I use Beenigma in the morning after I wash my face and at night after I have used my Clarosonic brush to get my makeup and gunk from the day off! Very little goes a long way too, so don’t be alarmed by the size of the container! Oh! And as for the price, not being the cheapest at $130 a container, it gets the job done, and in my opinion it is TOTALLY worth every cent as every last drop of this product is gold. Beauty is pain, well not in all cases, but pain can come from too-high price-tags. Haha!

Yes, I said it, Caitlyn Jenner. The former Bruce Jenner has finally physically transitioned and let “her” out of the closet making her debut on Vanity Fair magazine earlier this week. Good for him! or her? Right? Or not? Hmmm? Let’s be real…we ALL have something to say about this…EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. US. Even if you say you “don’t care”, there must be a reason why you don’t care, because EVERYONE else seems to. So, let’s “talk”. I’ve complied a few Caitlyn Jenner quotes from around the web. Let’s have this conversation in true WIRL fashion and talk about what we’re REALLY thinking. You may agree with comment 1, but strongly disagree with comment 5…let us know how you feel! Remember, no hate language is allowed according to WIRL Code, but, open, honest, genuine thoughts and feelings are, so be thoughtful of your words and WIRL from the heart. Here’s how this will work: Read the following 5 comments and watch the video clip that (light heartedly) sheds some light on this subject. Then, in the comment box below, tell us what you think. Pretend this platform is your best friend and say what you would say to that person. Got it? Okay, here we go! Quote 1: “I’m sorry, it’s hard to be ‘proud’ of someone who has had the financial means to achieve unrealistic goals for girls like us”. – Lilith Gütler (TheGuardian.com) Quote 2: “This is something that has been part of her life — the secret of her life — and now she’s free. God bless you, honey. God bless you.” - Whoopie Goldberg (TheWrap.com) Quote 3: “Caitlyn, when you were a man, we could talk about your athleticism, business acumen, but now you’re a woman, and your looks are really the only thing we care about.” – Jon Stewart (Mic.com) Quote 4: “Elective surgery isn’t courage or bravery…” - Kristin @KristinH1998 (Twitter.com) Quote 5: “I’m totally supportive of people staying true to themselves and finding true happiness in whatever way they can. There are just more things that we as a nation and as a planet should be talking about and working on.” - Connor Cruise (Hollywoodlife.com) Video Clip: Jon Stewart (Mic.com) The Daily Show Get More: Daily Show Full Episodes,The Daily Show on Facebook,Daily Show Video Archive So, how do you feel?
What is blogging REALLY like? An addiction. I mean, it’s a “good” kind of addiction… but it still takes over your life. You’re out for a walk and see a cute boutique… Potential blog post? That cupcake you treated yourself to after lunch was super tasty… Blog post! A leaf falls off of a tree and lands softly on the sidewalk… YES, there is definitely a blog post in there somewhere because why are leaves falling off trees in the end of May? Time to get educated. Everything you see and do is automatically filtered through a blogger mindset – can this be revamped to go on the blog? If you thought you were social media-addicted before, just wait ’til you start a blog that you want the online community to notice. Hello, shameless self-promotion. You’ll be posting more than you ever thought you would post and doing a ridiculous amount of networking and taking sooooo many pictures because who ever thought you would have to take 100 pictures before you got that angle that’s just PERFECT? And sometimes it’s 1000 but, hey, #DoItForTheBlog. As a blogger, my head is always spinning with ideas, so much so that I could not live without a planner, and I know many bloggers who would say the same thing. Gotta write that stuff down before my head gets too full and thoughts start escaping! Blogging is way harder than people think because, if you want to excel at it, you will need skills in photography, writing (especially grammar! Like, please stop confusing your/you’re, people. You’re better than that.), business, networking, social media and so much more. I know firsthand that it can be overwhelming and I debated closing my account at the beginning, because no hobby should be this much work. I’m just not passionate enough, I told myself. But I was lying. Blogging is what I was born to do. And I haven’t even told you the best part! Bloggers (for the most part) are not all in competition with each other – they are so so supportive! Bloggers help each other out and broadcast opportunities and follow back and will definitely let you know if you’re doing a super awesome job. No cute detail goes unnoticed. So, yes, my head is spinning with new post ideas and blogging opportunities 24/7 and it takes up about 200% of my free time, but I found my passion and you know what they say (cheesy quote alert) – when you do what you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life.
My acne is only skin deep. My skin won’t stop me because… I am a smart strong person Those who will love me will always love me no matter how I look My confidence is not superficial but it comes from my knowledge, passion and drive to do better and bigger things in life, not only for myself but for my family, my girls and their future! My acne started when I was a teenager due to hormonal changes but it was only minor. My school mates made fun of me, certain people in my family too were not understanding. At that point, I started taking prescription medication for my acne. The real problem started when one day I woke up with a reaction to that medicine and it had flared my acne to an acute condition where even looking at my face would probably remind you of a horror movie. But stories and movies have made-up stuff, my overblown acne was very real! Through trips to various doctors and them wanting to use me as a ‘case-study’ since they hadn’t seen anything like this before made me exhausted, ashamed, and my self-esteem took a major blow. Since then my acne has cleared out but has left a lot of scars on my face. I could feel people staring at me, thinking ‘ugly’ when they looked at me and much more. I had even convinced myself that nobody would love me because of the way I looked. One day everything changed – the day I met my husband. He looked at me, and after getting to know me over the course of just one day he asked me to marry him. He looked past my skin and saw ‘me.’ It was a long journey for me to ‘love’ myself but surely I am there due to him and now, my girls. They love me unconditionally! It gives me strength to walk out into the world and do what I want to do and accomplish everything I have on my vision board! So, my question to everyone is does only clear skin guarantee success in life? If not, then why does media only showcase beauty? In the world of business, why does the media only talk about success stories like Facebook, LinkedIn etc.? There are tons of regular people, and entrepreneurs that need their story heard as they work towards their goals and accomplish wonders! Glamorizing everything only puts unrealistic expectations in the minds of people and they don’t reach their true potential due to this pressure. For those who want to accomplish anything in life, to them I say, do not let glamour undermine what you believe in!

My acne was only skin deep. My skin won’t stop me because beauty is both inside and out. I believe that no one can define us, unless we allow them to. While growing up as a teenager, I suffered from moderate acne and it made me feel very insecure and embarrassed. I think it made me so insecure that many of my classmates and peers thought that I was shy, not knowing the pain that went along with it. There were many jokes and whispers that occasionally you would catch from others when they thought you didn’t hear… I still remember one of my so-called male friends talking to another guy saying “She’s a 15 footer…”, not knowing what that meant. I finally asked what that meant and was told that up close, not so good looking!! I was hurt by those types of comments and they stay with you for a long time, even after the acne heals. I know Eben through my daughter Sara and I can tell you that she is a beautiful person both inside and out… and I feel her pain! That being said I can connect with her insecurities about self-image. Stay strong Eben and I wish you all good things and never let your skin stop you!

My acne is only skin deep. My skin won’t stop me because… I know that I am beautiful, with or without pimples on my face. I know that real, genuine people get to know me for me, they see past my exterior and love me for who I am as a person on the inside. Those little red bumps on my face give me strength. I’ve cried in the mirror more times than I can count, but I’ve always made it through; they didn’t kill me, they made me stronger. I know that people who judge based on appearance are missing something in their lives, and need to fill this void by bringing other people down. I found that I feel most confident when I am educated, prepared, and driven to make something of myself. At this stage of my life, I do not care what negative people to say about me and my skin. The good stuff is on the inside. Skin is just skin, we all have it, we’re all different, and that’s what gives us character. Here’s my story… Growing up, I had acne all the time. Luckily, I didn’t have the Cystic Acne, but there sure were a lot of pimples on my face. I found it very sad and frustrating when my very clear-complected friends didn’t wear makeup, and I did. Things like pool parties and going to the beach were embarrassing for me because I’d think…Should I wear makeup? What if I get soaked? I’ll look stupid… I didn’t put makeup on because it made me feel better (which, I believe is why women should use it in the first place), but I put it on to hide. Even in high school and college…even on my wedding day…I always had a breakout somewhere. To be honest, I still deal with it, but you will rarely see me without ANY makeup on because I don’t scar very well. This combined with the fact that I am a “picker”, does not go over very well for my face. I have a lot of little purple scars from my acne and feel very self conscious if I don’t have any makeup on. It’s funny, sometimes I’ll even give people a disclaimer if they’re going to stop by and I am not wearing makeup…somehow this makes me feel like I prepared them for the worst? I am working on this and, at this point in my life, my son is my inspiration. I want him to grow up knowing that women are beautiful because they are smart, real, funny, kind, and caring; not because makeup and clothes made them look “sexy”. Since WIRL Project is a place to be honest and genuine with life and what it’s really like, I wanted to let you into my own struggle. Many people may read this and say, Wow, I had no idea this was even an issue for you, because I always tried to cover it up (and still do sometimes). My mom and husband can attest to the number of times I’ve cried about it, but I am here to tell you that I am working on this. If anyone else is out there feeling sad, insecure, or self conscious about your skin, I want you to know that I can relate to you and that it will be alright. When people, love you, they love you for who you are, and they really don’t even look at your skin. When people judge you, they have much bigger problems than the acne they see on your face. The way that we sometimes wear makeup to coverup our flaws, these weak people lash out on others (and bully) because they’re trying to coverup something much deeper than they’d ever be willing to admit. They’re weak, you’re not…don’t ever let your acne, psoriasis, skin color, or anything for that matter, stop you from being you. Please support our cause, Psoriasis, by sharing your story and encouraging other’s to do the same. Also purchasing the “Eben” bracelet from our partner, Cayisa, will help raise awareness and fund research.

I’ve recently, in the past year, done a 180 with my weight. I get emails all the time and wanted to share an example of the advice I give to a typical person in need of some help! Going from 170-120 lbs took two years and it could have taken a lot less time if I focused more on my nutrition!! Oh, and feel free to take advantage of the coupon code at the bottom of this post for Express Your Health, the best fresh meal delivery company out there!! Xo An example of an email I received recently: On Feb 18, 2015, at 4:29 PM, J…..@yahoo.com> wrote: Hey girl, We haven’t officially met but I know you through mutual friends. I was stalking you IG and just wanted to say how amazing you look especially for how short of a period you have been training and with being a mommy. I wanted to see if you could help me out with a diet. Let me know if you could help. I would greatly appreciate it!! Jessica My Reply: Hey love!! I’d love to help you out with your diet! You should be eating 6 meals a day, no carbs after 5/6pm! Meal 1: Start your day with plain oats, with 4-6 egg whites (I drink them, they taste like milk) and cook with Mrs. Dash or flavor God. Then the key is to eat every three hours on the dot, finishing each meal in its entirety. Meal 2: This should be something light (snack so to speak) such as nuts and a protein shake, optimum nutrition from GNC is fine (gold standard). Meal 3: For lunch, chicken or fish is perfect… 4 ounces, don’t go crazy- with rice and some greens or veggies! Meal 4: This should be asparagus/broccoli/green beans/Brussels and chicken or turkey (ground or burger) and white rice. No butter, salt is fine on everything. I cook with salt and pepper but that’s it honestly. Moving right along Meal 5: For dinner, steak/lean beef with a green (asparagus are the best). Meal 6: This is your protein shake or another beef meal! Easy peazy!!! Hope this helps write out your choices! Or you can always use my dear friend’s AMAZING company, Express Your Health if you don’t have a lot of time on your hands. It’s really not expensive, especially if you use the promo code: Eben2015, and I honestly spend more time and money at the grocery store and cooking, so if I were you, and if you can afford a whole week, or days worth of meals… I’d do that! But, I’m a diva.
