About

Amy is currently in the process of co-authoring "What a Good Eater!" The baby and toddler cookbook contains wholesome, family-friendly recipes designed to promote a well-rounded eater right from the get-go, and it's expected to debut in 2015!

After 14 successful years in Sales and Marketing at Fortune 500 companies, Amy accepted a new position: full-time caregiver to her son Landon! She and her husband Shaun are expecting their second child.

Amy began cooking and entertaining 15 years ago. Growing up in a Parsi family, her Persian-Indian roots exposed her to a variety of foods and flavors starting at a very impressionable age. Her grandmother, a renowned Indian caterer, prepared delicious meals for Amy’s family on a daily basis. Amy’s mother possessed the talent of whipping up tasty meals from just about any country in 30 minutes or less. With parents who migrated to the United States from India, Amy’s exposure to international foods was customary and welcomed.

“It’s important to me to raise kids who are well-rounded eaters with diverse palettes, so 3 years before I even had my son, I researched how to minimize picky eating habits in toddlers. I discovered that the subject fascinated me! My husband and I regularly cooked nutritious meals using ingredients from our garden prior to having kids, and we didn’t want that to change. It’s important to me that our kids enjoy the same foods we eat as much as possible, because who wants to cook twice? Food is culture. I hope to raise children who enjoy a variety of foods and flavors, welcoming them with enthusiasm and curiosity.”
