I loved this Maddie! Thank you for sharing your story with us. If I were traveling to Italy in the near future, I’d definitely take many of your recommendations. It looked like you had a fabulous trip and that picture of the Pizza made my mouth water!! Looking forward to seeing more from you on WIRL Project!

Terri – I so appreciate your kind words and I am honored that you found these thoughts to be helpful. Grief is one of the toughest emotions because most of the time the situation that brings it on is out of your control. I know you are a strong woman and will find a way to navigate through these tough times. Stay positive, surround yourself with…[Read more]

At church, my pastor, David Chadwick, was giving his awesome sermon and he was talking about “following Jesus”. Leave it to me, being so actively involved in the social media world, to think to myself, If Jesus […]

Dear Sara,
Wow! I have been wrestling with these thoughts all day today. Have sat down to write them out and there are so many knots and snarls, I couldn’t be coherent. My heart has been so heavy. I struggle every day with getting up, I want to turn the clock back and have my son with me. I find that I am hyper-sensitive to the negativity in…[Read more]

This was done so beautifully, Heather. So many people just blast their feelings on social media without any story or thoughts to back them up. You really pulled me in and I understand how you feel about same-sex marriage in a non-threatening or defensive way. Thank you for being so open about this subject and providing others with some personal…[Read more]

This really hit close to home, Brody. I like the idea of thinking backwards – because when you begin with the end in mind, it makes the journey a little easier to navigate. I too spend a lot of time on social media and do my best to put it away when my son is around. Thank you for sharing your thoughts – you are not alone!

Sara Brennan wrote a new post, Why Millennials Have a Bad Reputation, on the site WIRL Project 9 years, 3 months ago ·
Millennials seem to have a bad rap. Many, especially baby boomers, tend to say they walk this planet with a sense of gotta-have-it-now entitlement and a lack of work ethic. They’ve also been referred to as lazy, […]

I’m sorry to hear you lost your mom as well, Meredith. I’m sure your mother is with you and your family, you just need to be willing to acknowledge the little signs (at least this is what I think). Thank you for taking the time to read and relate to my story.
