I am a wife and mother of two sons. Our eldest son, Justin, was killed in a car accident September 27, 2010. He was 25 years old. I write and blog about our journey through the deepest grief a parent can experience and how we are slowing rebuilding our lives. We are homebrewers of beer and mead, and are canine fosters for a German Shepherd rescue. I love photography and am passionate about self-care, especially during times of trauma.
