Every athlete has that one defining moment in their career which changes their life. For Patrick Patterson, of the Toronto Raptors, that moment was against the Brooklyn Nets and a game winning shot. With the odds stacked against them and only 12.0 seconds left, Patterson made his best play ever. After intercepting a full court pass, he got the last second shot for the win. Patterson had this to say about that moment, ” There’s nothing quite like making a big play on the road. You put so much work in just for the opportunity to make a play that can silence an arena like that.” This goes to show how hard work and determination can make a career changing moment.
