Two weeks ago at Thirty-One’s Leadership Council (where the top 25 women in each of 5 categories earn their spot to attend), I was challenged to look at our Core Values and pick one that I want to focus on this upcoming year.
Our values are to be Purposeful, Thankful, Respectful, Accountable, Curious, Courageous, Authentic, Trustworthy, Hardworking, Fun-Loving and Flexible as required to do the right thing, to give back and to put other people first. We believe in being engaged with integrity in our work, in our communities, in our families and in our mission.
I had to take some time thinking about which one I wanted to work on this upcoming year. I believe that I already display all of the values, some more than others, but when thinking about which one I wanted to focus on this upcoming year I kept going back to Courageous.
